The cigarettes are genius and I loved the hover footnotes over the regular text. Overall the game looks like an enjoyable world to spend time in, psyched to see where it goes 💯
I love noir fiction, and this caters to that. Atmosphere is built very well, and the writing is top notch. Brings to mind Disco Elysium and Call of Cthulhu - to expand on the latter, not the mythos itself, but the spirit of Jazz Age investigator scenarios from the TTRPG. A couple bugs here and there, thus saving often is a good idea. The cigarette function is extremely satisfying. Didn't manage to solve the case with my clues and deductions, but I will play around with them a bit more! Hoping for more cases to come.
